"The 2004 Chateau Lafaurie-Peyraguey has a muted nose at first, but with modest encouragement it reveals attractive peach, mandarin and subtle adhesive/resinous scents. The palate is medium-bodied with a crisp, slightly spicy entry. There is less botrytis here compared to the 2003, but there is a pleasant grip and vivacity in the mouth with a linear, focused finish that might lack a little complexity, but feels very persistency. It is quite saline on the aftertaste. Drink now or keep for another 12 to 15 years."
