較早前成班超托雀仔被搶購一空，相信大家也見識過 Castellare di Castellina 的實力，今次再推同一集團跟 Lafite 合作的 Rocca di Frassinello ，酒莊最高級別的酒款～Baffonero ，釀造此酒目的就只有一個👉🏻 就係是將意大利最貴的酒王之一 Masseto 的寶座🏆拉下來 ，跟 Masseto 一樣用上單一 Merlot釀造，從2007年面世至今，兩酒之間的競爭愈演愈烈，儘管兩者價格尚有一大段距離，但 Baffonero 每年的評分已經向 Masseto 步步進迫。

酒名 Baffonero 取自 Maremma 產區鄉間的文化，很久之前當地獵人會聚首一起獵捕野豬，而 Baffonero 就是整幫獵人們的首領，負責統領狩獵，2015年 Rocca di Frassinello 為 Baffonero 進行過一次全球視頻的垂直試酒會，雲集了4個國家共9個城巿的酒評家和專家同步視像試酒，Baffonero 獲得了一致好評 👉🏻https://youtu.be/MqricD7m6Pc，Wine Spectator 資訊編輯 Bruce Sanderson 評論 Baffonero 為 :「A Fantastic Wine 🍷 ❗️」，採用 Maremma 區內最頂級的 Merlot，加上Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) 的技術支援，放在全新橡木桶陳熟14個月及瓶內陳熟12個月，每年只做3000瓶😳，產量少得可憐，由天才釀酒師 Alessandro Cellai 親自操刀，我們可見Baffonero 將來能夠奪得全意大利最佳 Merlot 的寶座的日子指日可待，現在就應該收藏此酒在酒櫃當中～👍🏻

This is a wine of lofty ambitions and soaring promises. At this price point, it would be impossible to expect less. The 2015 Maremma Toscana Baffonero (100% Merlot) is indeed a beautiful and persuasive wine. It opens to an inky dark color with rich concentration and a full-bodied approach. It flows over the palate with enriched texture. The finish is smooth, seamless and powerful. This vintage is coming together nicely despite the evidently ripe and sweet quality of fruit. Cherry liqueur, blackberry preserves, cinnamon and honey-roasted almond emerge from the bouquet.
