🔎集五代人150年努力的Chateau Siran (雪蘭酒莊)，一支四平八隱的Margaux酒，前身是9家Cru BourgeoisExceoptionnel 之一👍，從17世紀便開始生產葡萄酒，是少數波爾多酒莊能避過轉手和被收購的命運，至今仍是由Miailhe家族管理。 Miaihe家族曾經擁有過Pichon Lalande、Palmer 和 Dauzac，來個溏心風暴後家族產業便分散了，Chateau Siran最終落入現在第五代掌舵人Edouard Miailhe手中，酒莊特別之處，就係Edouard父親由於感受到當時的核子危機，所以在興建酒窖時將其變成為能抵禦核子輻射的堡壘。另外酒莊門前插著菲律賓國旗🇵🇭，這源於Miailhe家族早已在菲律賓落地生根🌱，在當地經營貿易和房地產業務，Edouard原本亦長駐菲律賓打理家族業務，到了接管酒莊業務後，才舉家搬回法國，現在還時刻菲法兩邊走。Chateau Siran其中一個令酒友印象深刻，就係她的酒標跟Mouton一樣每年更換設計，直到2005年以後才維持不變。

💁🏻‍♀️酒莊總面積88公頃，當中36公頃為葡萄園。土壤為特殊礫石土🌱，葡萄藤平均樹齡為31年，經人手採收後會放入溫控不锈綱桶發酵，及後進行12個月木桶陳熟 (當中35%為新桶) 後才推出巿場。

💁🏻‍♂️近年酒莊一直在冒升，其巿場評價和分數也持續上升📈，由於Miailhe家族在1859年才接手酒莊，錯過了1855年分級的重要時刻，一家在分級時被遺忘了的酒莊只能眼定定望著鄰居 Giscours、Kirwan、Dauzac躍升為列級莊份子，酒莊正努力地証明自己也有具備列級莊的風土條件👍🏻。

Chateau Siran 集瑪歌柔滑細膩，同時兼顧了Cab Sauvignon 和Petit Verdot 的力度、骨架和酒體(尤其Petit Verdot增添了野性和力量💪🏻）成熟的草苺🍓，同時混集了黑果味道、草本🌱、雲尼拿、甘草、可可等，是一支均衡型的瑪歌酒。

The red and black fruits and delicatelyherbal character make this quite a complex wine. For this appellation and giventhe wine’s youthfulness, the balance of fruit, tannins and alcohol is almostseamless. Drink in 2020 but already gorgeous.

Siran is in the south of the Margauxappellation just where the gravel outcrops rise above the river. It shows itsfine position in this tannic wine. It has all the black-currant fruit buriedfor the moment under the structure. It is a serious wine that will repay aging.

The 2014 Siran has a fresh nose with mint,fennel and sage infusing the black fruit. It gains delineation with time, thatmint note ebbing away. The palate is medium-bodied with fine grain tannin.There is a pleasant symmetry here, understated and linear, but nicely focusedwith a tensile, structured finish that lingers nicely in the mouth. The 2014 Siran has a very refined bouquetwith blackberry, briary and light tertiary aromas. There is fine precisionhere, understated compared to the Sirans of old. The palate is medium-bodiedwith fine tannin and a keen line of acidity. Linear in style and a littleconservative towards the finish, but showing freshness from start to finish.Edouard Miailhe, proprietor of Siran, has really upped the ante here and this2014 is just a classic Bordeaux claret that should drink well from the start,yet has the substance to suggest it will age with aplomb.
