波爾多罕見百年老藤
莫朗酒莊位於法國聖佩亞眠（Saint-Pey d’Amens），這片位於聖埃美隆（Saint Emilion）的家族產業面積並不大，占地3.5公頃，卻享有著極為出色的水土條件。古老的葡萄藤，其中2 公頃為過百年老藤，這裡的土壤為粘土-石灰石質，富含鐵元素，跟最神級的右岸酒 Petrus 有著相同的土質：仿佛具有魔力一般，能夠使葡萄酒具有複雜的香味層次，等待您去馴服、品味和鑒賞。一旦觸及味蕾，它便立即綻放出自己的獨特個性。而 Fleur Morange 的歷史開始于21世紀初，由14公畝（1400平方米）土地和8行葡萄藤開始。
木匠釀的精品酒 每年只有5,000瓶
在1990年代，莊主·弗朗索瓦·朱利安（Jean-François Julien）是一位木匠，他對葡萄酒一無所知，曾經為卡農嘉芙麗（Château Canon La Gaffelière）的貴族老闆斯 史帝芬馮納博（Stephan von Neipperg）修理家具。如今，他在聖埃美隆（St-Émilion）的葡萄酒產區擁有與伯爵當時完全相同的地位。La Fleur Morange 於 2012年晉升為 Grand Cru Classé。 Julien 於1999年一間車庫裡釀成了首個年份，產量僅為900瓶。
自學拜讀波爾多釀酒之父 Émile Peynaud 的書
話說起初未有人識時，當地攝影師到酒莊拍照然後消息傳到葡萄酒經紀人，佢地試酒後都話﹕這太瘋狂了。都以為有人幫助，幾乎不敢相信 Julien只是讀了 Émile Peynaud 的書，便能釀出如此酒質。( Peynaud 出生於1912年。他的釀酒師生涯始於1930年代，一生為超過150酒莊作顧問，遍及世界各地西班牙，秘魯，墨西哥，意大利超級托斯卡納，著名波爾多酒莊就有 Chateau Margaux, Lynch-Bages, Léoville-Las-Cases, Lagrange and Pontet-Canet 等等，Michel Rolland 亦係佢既學生。)
講到 Julien對自己的葡萄園熱誠，除了將酒莊用上女兒名稱，“Julien非常愛他的葡萄藤，實際上佢為每株葡萄藤都起個名”。而且偏愛小型的、高品質的葡萄，一株葡萄藤上不能多於十串葡萄，這樣才能使葡萄擁有更多的糖分和更深的顏色……”
小巧的釀酒廠擁有最新的截錐桶，是波爾多的第一座重力釀酒廠和控溫雙重外板，在整個發酵期間精準地確保溫度。這個階段極大的耐心，每日都要進行品嘗，以防止葡萄果味的丟失。這是一項耗費時間的工作，需要盡可能平穩地倒出葡萄酒，不能有任何激烈的動作或抽起，完全依靠重力進行。這需要高品質的木桶，恒定的理想溫度才能實現。最終，發酵成熟階段決定了葡萄酒口感的細膩和優雅。這需要在木桶中陳釀兩年時間，在這個階段將進行葡萄酒將進行乳酸發酵，需要對所有木桶進行取樣以監控潛在的缺點而不是品鑒品質。在這個關鍵的階段，每個人都需要進行無微不至的照顧才能打造出獨一無二的“手工”頂級葡萄酒。佢非常清楚莊園的風土有其獨特之處以及獨特的釀酒技術，對自己的酒非常有信心，所以開咗個對得住自己的賣價。仲話如果真係賣唔出就同朋友一起喝酒。而當然佢好快就賣晒所有酒，尤其係有人話佢知佢攞到 RP 93分之後，而佢不知誰是Robert Parker 。 之後2001又收到同Petrus 一樣好的讚賞。
從小酒莊到頂級葡萄酒莊園（Grand Cru Classé）
自2012年起，莫朗酒莊成為了聖埃美隆列級葡萄酒莊園之一（Grand Cru Classé）。通過堅持不懈和創新精神，朱利安夫婦成功的打造出了獨一無二的莫朗葡萄酒，其最主要的特徵在於巧妙地保存了土地所有的礦物特質。極高的礦物含量與品麗珠（Cabernet Franc）中的甘草味調和古老的梅樂（Merlot）葡萄特質相結合，產生出了一種口感極為強勁的葡萄酒——回味悠長，口感均衡、強勁、飽滿，這使其成為了最頂級的葡萄酒之一。

JR 在2008年右岸2005年份盲目品酒會上遇到 La Fleur Morange，當時法爾·溫特納斯（Farr Vintners）的史蒂芬·布羅維特（Stephen Browett）和 JR分別確信這神秘的葡萄酒是 Ausone 和 Pavie， Saint Emilon Grands Crus Classes A 。而在2012年同佢前老闆的 Canon La Gaffeliere 擁有同等級別。

I first came across La Fleur Morange in an extensive blind tasting of right bank 2005s in 2008 when Stephen Browett of Farr Vintners and I were respectively convinced that this mystery wine was Ausone and Pavie, two or the four estates now in the rarefied rank two notches above Grand Cru Classé (see my 2008 article). In 2012 Graf von Neipperg’s Canon La Gaffelière was promoted one notch above La Fleur Morange –something to aim for?
Dark, particularly dense crimson. Obviously lots of fruit extraction but not bitter or drying tannin. Already quite round and supple and a pleasure to drink. Mulberries and good freshness on the end. Pretty impressive and almost more like a good, fresh 2009. Impressive ripeness.

Are markable achievement, from vines cropped at very low yields, the 2008 LaFleur Morange is also sensational. According to Claude Gros, this wine hit 14% natural alcohol, in a vintage where the average was around 13% to 13.5%. Dense purple in color, it possesses intense blueberry and dark raspberry jam notes intermixed with camphor, crushed rock, and spring flowers. Full-bodied,unctuously textured, long and stunningly pure, this wine should drink well for at least 10-15 years.This was a terrific discovery by Jeffrey Davies of Signature Selections, an American wine broker who has lived in Bordeaux for over 30 years. Both the 2008 and 2010 cuvees are remarkable efforts.

This is starting to open now and shows beautiful light chocolate with spice and berry character. Hazelnut and iron. Stylish.Full-bodied and juicy with a tangy acidity. It’s really savory. Drink or hold.
