Chateau Tour Maillet（梅耶塔酒莊）位於 Bordeaux 的 Pomerol（波美侯）產區，建于 Pomerol高原之上，毗鄰著名的 Chateau Gazin （嘉仙酒莊），是該產區內的一座精品酒莊。




 Chateau Tour Maillet現在的擁有者是 Lagardere 家族。Lagardere 家族自一戰後開始釀造葡萄酒，擁有豐富的釀造經驗和精湛的釀造工藝。20世紀80年代，Lagardere 家族收購了 Chateau Tour Maillet，將酒莊酒窖修葺一番，並引進大量新的釀酒設備，包括多個不銹鋼桶。



 

酒莊的葡萄園占地面積約2.2公頃，以砂質土和礫石土為主。葡萄園內種植了100%的 Merlot，葡萄樹平均樹齡為35年，其種植密度約每公頃5,500株。因為葡萄園的面積很小，酒莊可以在每株葡萄藤上傾注更多的精力，保證釀酒葡萄的品質，酒莊每年出產的佳釀都由最精華的果實釀就，非常珍貴，數量也十分有限，產量約12,000瓶。




在葡萄酒的釀造上，Chateau Tour Maillet 是傳統工藝忠實的踐行者。葡萄充分成熟時，以人工方式進行採摘。去梗破皮後倒入不銹鋼罐，在恒溫條件下，用蘋果酸或乳酸發酵3到4周。發酵完成後，再倒入橡木桶中進行熟成。新橡木桶的使用比例為50%，整個熟成過程歷時12個月。熟成後的葡萄酒進行過濾，再在酒莊裝瓶。




 Chateau Tour Maillet 紅葡萄酒香氣濃郁複雜，帶有成熟的黑色水果氣息，向來被視為是 Pomerol 梅洛的典型代表。這款2012年 Chateau Tour Maillet 紅葡萄酒還獲得了有“法國葡萄酒業聖經”之稱的《Le Guide Hachette des Vins》二星級贊許。

Features good density but remains tight, with darkcurrant, fig and blackberry fruit balled up by charcoal-tinged grip. Clove,ganache and espresso notes fill in on the finish, which should stretch out withcellaring.

Blueberry and spices, with hints of vanilla andlight coffee. Full and juicy, with bright acidity and a clean, medium finish.
