Croizet Bages 歌碧酒莊位於 Pauillac 波雅克村，在1855分級梅多克分級中被評為五級莊！與五級莊 Lynch Bages 靚茨伯和 Grand Puy Lacoste 拉古斯酒莊毗鄰。酒莊由 Bages 兄弟開始，到後來由 Croizet 兄弟接手，兩者結合成了酒莊的名字 Croizet Bages。直到1942年，酒莊轉到波爾多酒商 Paul Quie 接手，Quie 家族在波爾多主要經營葡萄酒買賣，旗下酒莊包括二級莊的 Razuan Gassies, 中級莊的 Chateau Bel Orme Tronquoy. 現在由新一代 twins Jean-Philppe 和 Anne-Francoise Quie 經營，增加種植密度，大規模更新葡萄園的釀酒設備，聘請釀酒顧問 Eric Boissenot，採用了同時接種發酵的方式來釀制葡萄酒，即同時進行酒精發酵和蘋果酸-乳酸發酵，這樣一方面可以更好地保留葡萄本身的果香，還可以盡可能延長葡萄酒在橡木桶中的陳年時間，從而提升葡萄酒的品質。

葡萄園面積共有30公頃，獨特的土壤組合 gravel, sand, iron, minerals, 其中62%用來種植赤霞珠，28%用來種植梅洛，4%種植品麗珠，剩下6%為味而多。葡萄樹的平均樹齡為35年，種植密度為每公頃8,000株，通過除芽、疏葉和綠色採收等方法控制產量，以提升葡萄品質。在水泥槽裏進行酒精發酵，分離壓榨出來的葡萄酒獨立存放，最後進行乳酸發酵。在法國橡木桶中陳釀12個月，最後經過六個月細心的品嘗和分析後開始調配酒，最後用蛋清進行澄清。

A young wine, with a prettycore of ripe fruit and silky tannins. Full body, chewy, yet cashmere intexture. Lacks a tiny bit on the finish. But nicely done.

🏅Vinous 88 – 91 pts

(80% cabernet sauvignon, 17%merlot and 3% cabernet franc) Dark ruby. Enticing nose combines black plum,blackcurrant, violet, Oriental spices and soy sauce. Smooth and dense on thepalate, with juicy fruit flavors similar to the aromas. Displays very goodbalance and finishes with smooth, ripe tannins. A surprisingly big wine forCroizet-Bages that remains elegant and refined but packs plenty of oomph.Tasted three different times with only one sample scoring less than 90 or 91points. 

The best Croizet-Bages I remember tasting at a similar stage of itsdevelopment, although the 2008 had already hinted at an overall improvementhere. This wine may well be underrated by other wine writers who don't want togo out on a limb, given the estate's track record, but in 2010 Croizet-Bages,at least at this stage of the game, is very promising indeed.
