葡萄酒釀造
為了釀制杜特城堡(Chateau du Tertre),將葡萄酒混合在24個木桶,10個混凝土桶,4個小水泥雞蛋和16個不銹鋼罐中進行組合,其大小從10升至180升不等。杜特城堡(Chateau du Tertre)是最早開始使用水泥Nomblot蛋形水泥桶的波爾多葡萄酒生產商之一。目前該莊園總共使用了4個蛋形桶。這些桶增加了葡萄酒的礦物質感。
蘋果乳酸發酵在法國橡木桶和大桶中進行,其中蘋果乳酸發酵的40%在桶中進行,而60%在混凝土桶中進行。杜特城堡(Chateau du Tertre)在50%的新法國橡木桶中平均花費18個月,並用蛋清稍加澄清。

(a blend of 40% cabernet sauvignon, 37% merlot, 17% cabernet franc and 6% petit verdot): Purple ruby. Strikingly pure aromas of black plum, blackcurrant, violet, ink, vanilla and white chocolate on the captivating, aromatic nose. Very fresh and clean on entry, then rich and suave in the middle, with lovely inner-mouth perfume to the flavors of strawberry, blackcurrant, vanilla and white pepper. This has a much creamier, softer mouthfeel than the more penetrating, minerally 2010. Finishes long and clean, with persistent inky and sexy floral notes. Very well balanced and focused, this is a great effort from du Tertre and strikes me as potentially one of the estate's 5 or 6 wines of the last 40 years.

Plenty of sweet tobacco with plum and berry character that follows through to a full body, with super polished tannins. Silky and stylish. Lovely chocolate, toasted oak and coffee too. Gorgeous balance.

A wine that continues the impressive rise of du Tertre. It is becoming one of the sure values of Margaux, and this 2009 is both ripe and finely balanced. The acidity boosts the rich fruits, sweet tannins and the warm finish.

A seductive, opulent, textured Margaux with notes of licorice, black fruits, asphalt, pen ink and truffle, this is one of the finest du Tertres ever made. It has a hedonistic quality to it, but at the same time, there is great class, precision and freshness to this full-bodied, concentrated, but very supple-textured wine.

Quite perfumy at first, with lilac, damson plum and singed bay leaf notes up front, followed by darker yet still caressing steeped black cherry, worn leather and espresso notes on the back end.
