L'Evangile 是五大酒莊 Chateau Lafite 位於右岸 Pomerol 的產業。The Leglise family (雷格理茲家族) 是Chateau L'Evangile的起源。18世紀中期Pomerol 波美侯地區的葡萄種植開始興旺發展，The Leglise family (雷格理茲家族) 亦是此中的領軍人物。一直帶領著L'Evangile邁向知名道路！不過在1741年的土地管理簿上，標誌L'Evangile的尚是另一個名字：法茲勒。
直到19世紀初，葡萄園已經有大約13公頃，接近今時今日的種植面積。一位名叫伊桑貝爾的律師買下了葡萄園並重新命名為L'Evangile（évangile在法語中為“福音”之意）。1862年，保羅·查伯隆收購了L'Evangile。之後，杜卡斯家族的後代收購了酒莊，並一直掌管到1990年。保羅·查伯隆繼續使城堡聞名於世，並賦予酒莊主建築第二帝國式的獨特風格。在1868年的《Cocks Féret》第二版中，Chateau L'Evangile已被列為「上波美侯的頂級一等葡萄園」 (Premier Cru de Haut-Pomerol)。

Blason de L’Evangile跟正牌用來自同一葡萄園的果實，並用相同的標準進行挑選，有著類似於正牌酒的特徵，但因在木桶中的陳釀時間較短，所以適飲年齡較年輕。

15個月桶木桶陳存。明顯的紅醋栗和mocha咖啡香氣，入口結構平衡且濃密。單寧成熟，口感柔和、油滑。餘韻圓潤，回甘絲絲茶葉及煙薰，層次豐富，餘韻悠長。 Deep, clear colour with hints of violet. Fruity nose of red berries (raspberries and redcurrants) with notes of toast. On the palate, the attack is clean with a well-enveloped, balanced tannic structure. The texture is very velvety thanks to the ripe, well-coated tannins. The finish is fruity but it is the quality of the tannins that dominates.
