Camille Giroud酒莊位於法國勃艮第伯恩丘（Cote de Beaune）產區，酒莊的部分葡萄園位於Gevrey-Chambertin。
酒莊擁有 Vosne-Romanée 、Gevrey-Chambertin、Meursault和Maranges等一級園（Premier Cru）地塊。

1865年，Camille Giroud建立了同名的Camille Giroud酒莊。後來，他的兒子Lucien繼承了酒莊。經過Lucien多年的精心打理，Camille Giroud酒莊在當地有了一定的名氣。Lucien逝世後，酒莊由他的兩個兒子Bernard和Francois管理，他們繼承了酒莊的傳統，並將酒莊進一步發揚光大。2002年1月，在酒莊葡萄酒產量達到最多（100,000瓶）的時候，由於資金緊缺他們將酒莊賣給了Ann Colgin和她的丈夫Joe Wender。在獲得Camille Giroud酒莊的經營權後，他們新建了酒窖，增添了新橡木桶，進一步發展壯大酒莊。

夫妻成功延攬到知名酒莊Domaine des Croix成功年輕又極具天分的釀酒師David Croix，成為Camille Giroud酒莊的釀酒師與技術總監，並請教勃艮第專家Becky Wasserman，全新改革釀酒方式、酒窖建設，輿葡萄園的管理方式，包括木質壓榨機的使用、開放式發酵酒桶、增加使用舊桶輿減少攪拌次數等。 　　

Camille Giroud酒莊現擁有1.2公頃葡萄園，其中包括一級葡萄園。葡萄園的土壤以粘土和石灰石土為主，主要種植紅葡萄品種黑皮諾（Pinot Noir）和少量的白葡萄品種霞多麗（Chardonnay）。
　　
Camille Giroud酒莊釀造葡萄酒時，首先要對葡萄進行嚴格的篩選，再進行100%的去梗工作，然後採用人工破皮，選擇木桶（不用不銹鋼罐）進行發酵，之後在橡木桶中熟成18至36個月，並且在發售之前在酒窖中陳年3-4年。自2003年以來，酒莊釀造的葡萄酒在裝瓶時會保留部分酒糟，這有利於保護葡萄酒不被氧化。
Croix致力於葡萄品質的呈現，釀酒技術著眼於傅統輿現代的平衡，同時也讓葡萄酒忠實地表現其年份特色，使得近年來Camille Giroud酒莊在國際酒評媒體上屢獲大獎，可以說是勃艮第表現最優秀的酒莊之一。

Here the noseis quite ripe yet retains that beautiful aspect of 2005, which is that theripeness is present without compromising the wonderful sense of freshness. Acomplex and earthy, even slightly animale nose of red, blackand violet aromas merges into deep, powerful and expansive flavors that possessexcellent power, balance and positively stunning length. A big but not inelegantwine built for the long haul.

Ripe,evoking black cherry jam, with a lush texture and tannins folded into the richfruit and opulent frame. It's deceptive, with the structure emerging on thefinish and a long aftertaste of cassis. Needs time. 


🏅Wine Advocate 90-92 pts 

The 2005 Nuits-St.-Georges Les Vaucrainssmells of lightly-cooked black raspberry, cedar, and clove. Meaty andsubstantial on the palate with marrowy sweetness, rich black fruit, and subtleundertones of chalk, this is a wine of formidable density, fine-grained tannicstructure, and significant aging potential, yet with plenty of flattering fat.
