寶麗莊園（Jean-Marc Bouley）位於法國勃艮第（Burgundy）的伯恩丘（Cote de Beaune）產區，是該產區內的知名酒莊之一，並正在朝頂級酒莊的方向上邁進。寶麗莊園目前由布萊（Bouley）家族的第四代傳人托馬斯·布萊（Thomas Bouley）負責管理經營。托馬斯是勃艮第最有才華的釀酒師之一，他在美國加州（California）和新西蘭（New Zealand）工作學習的經歷賦予了他不一樣的視野，從而為酒莊注入了新鮮的活力。酒莊能夠有今天的聲譽，托馬斯的父親讓-馬克（Jean-Mark）功不可沒。讓-馬克在1985年接管酒莊之後，大規模地擴建了酒莊的產業，並憑藉著富有活力、引人入勝的黑皮諾（Pinot Noir）葡萄酒為酒莊在國內外打響了名頭。如今，父子倆齊心協力打造顏色、風味以及香氣都十分濃郁的葡萄酒。

寶麗莊園的葡萄園位於伯恩丘的沃爾奈（Volnay）、玻瑪（Pommard）和伯恩（Beaune）三個村莊，占地面積總共為12公頃。位於上伯恩丘（Hautes Cotes de Beaune）的葡萄園面朝南方，坐落在海拔300米的山頂上，園內葡萄樹的樹齡在30年左右。位於沃爾奈的村莊級的葡萄園總共有3.5公頃，其中最老的葡萄樹樹齡為25年，而新栽的葡萄樹樹齡則為15年。沃爾奈的橡木一級園（Closdes Chenes 1er Cru）呈東南朝向，是酒莊葡萄園中最出色的地塊之一，其土壤為黏質石灰岩（Limestone-lay），地表多石。葡萄田內有60%的葡萄樹樹齡為54年，其餘40%為34年。比一般的Volnay村葡萄酒酒體要稍顯強勁，集中度也更高，葡萄酒大師Jasper Morris也將其定義為“Exceptional 1er cru傑出一級園”！它與Santenots du Milleu、Les Caillerets等一併屬於Volnay村一級園的佼佼者。

布萊父子致力於用健康自然的方式生產出低產而優質的葡萄果實。為此，葡萄園內已有7年未使用化肥和化學藥劑。通過剪枝和整形，葡萄樹的掛果率被控制在每株6-8串，以保證充足的光照和良好的通風。此外，父子倆還通過放任葡萄樹行間的雜草自由生長、頻繁深耕、推遲剪苗等方式來控制葡萄果實的產量。

寶麗莊園的建築物位於沃爾奈村一條狹窄而陡峭的街道上，由一位退休的鐵路工程師設計建造，因而酒莊的酒窖與火車隧道有異曲同工之妙。從2002年酒莊擴建和修葺之後，布萊父子倆共同合作，為酒莊打造鮮活純淨的葡萄酒。如今，視酒款的不同，他們將釀造過程中新橡木桶的使用比例提升至30%-70%，使得酒莊葡萄酒的品質又上升了一個檔次。

The 2014 Volnay 1er Cru Clos des Chênes includes 40% whole bunch fruit this year. In some ways, it has a more conservative bouquet than the les Carelles or the Caillerets. Thomas said that he once vowed never to add whole bunch fruit, but he decided to do so this year and feels that it adds freshness, a bit of light to the dark. The palate is very well balanced with filigree tannin. More saline than its peers, this has a mouth-sapping intensity with great linearity and focus towards the sustained finish. Once those aromatics open, this will be a serious Volnay for long-term aging.

A fresh, pure and ripe nose of liqueur-like dark berry fruit, lavender, violet and earth nuances is trimmed in just enough wood to notice. The textured, round and utterly delicious middle weight flavors possess good mid-palate fat as well as plenty of minerality before culminating in a sleekly muscular finish where a hint of bitter cherry appears. This is so rich and concentrated that it will be approachable young but make no mistake it has the tannic spine to improve over the next 12 to 15 years if desired. Excellent.

Healthy bright, dark red. Deeper-pitched than the Carelles, offering aromas of dried flowers and earth. Densely packed and thick yet light on its feet; a very spicy, soil-driven wine that's rich and salty but uncompromisingly dry. Finishes with rather powerful tannins that will need a good bit of time to harmonize with the wine's fruit.
