1979年，Odile 和Alain Jaume 繼承了家族企業，運用家族傳統方法創造了 Domaine Grand Veneur 系列的葡萄酒。現在酒莊的運作逐漸的由 Alain Jaume 的兒子 Sebastien 和 Christophe 接管，家族世代一直秉承著偉大的酒首先來自健康的葡萄，2012 年，酒莊更已通過有機認證，酒中清晰地表達了當地都有的風土特色以及我們對此的熱情的宗旨。

More edgy and precise than the ‘07, the 2010 Domaine Grand Veneur Châteauneuf-du-Pape Les Origines, a blend of 50% Grenache and close to an even split of Syrah and Mourvèdre that’s aged for 18 months in new oak. Showing a touch more wood than the Vieilles Vignes, with intense black cherry, blackberry liqueur, graphite, licorice, spice box, and roasted meats all showing on the nose, this full-bodied, structured, and concentrated Châteauneuf-du-Pape is beautifully proportioned on the palate, possesses excellent freshness, brilliant purity, and a mineral-laced, tannic finish. As with the Vieilles Vignes, this shouldn’t be purchased by those looking for instant gratification; bottles should be given 4-5 years of cellaring, and then consumed over the following 15-20 years.

The 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape Les Origines is nearly off the charts in terms of concentration. It is a less sexy, flamboyant effort compared to the 2009, but it is noble, reserved and pure with plenty of black and blue fruit notes intermixed with subtle garrigue, graphite and spice box characteristics. Full and rich with high tannins, good acidity and a style built for the long term, this 2010 will benefit from 4-5 years of cellaring, and keep for at least 20-25 years.

Opaque purple. Intense, mineral-accented aromas of cherry, cassis and violet, with a spicy topnote. Deeply pitched dark fruit flavors are complicated by floral pastille and fruitcake nuances and lifted by sneaky acidity. Shows excellent clarity and power on the floral finish.

Racy, offering delicious dark bramble, linzer torte and blackberry notes, with a strong graphite edge coursing through the finish. Gains density and flesh on the finish, which bodes well for the cellar. A modern style, but shows solid grounding in its terroir.

Very spicy brooding nose. Sweet, mulberry start and then freshness and very clean tannins on the finish. A very ambitious wine. Dramatic.
