Domaine de la Vieille Julienne 位於Rhone Valley南部的Chateauneuf du Pape，酒莊成立於1905年占地面積20公頃共有三塊田分別是les Trois Sources、les Hauts-lieux、lieu-dit Clavin。最初只是一家名不見經傳的家族酒莊，在1960年以前葡萄基本也是出售給別人，60年代以後開始裝瓶，也基本限於分給家族好友並沒有正式進入市場銷售。
酒莊所在地區為典型的地中海氣候，夏季炎熱乾燥，冬季溫和濕潤。土壤以大粒圓形鵝卵石和沙質紅色粘土為主。種植的紅葡萄品種主要有Grenache、Syrah、Mourvèdr和Counoise，還有少量比較少見的Muscardin和Vaccarese，白葡萄品種有Marsanne和Roussanne。酒莊全部採用人工採摘的方式採摘葡萄，並選用成熟飽滿的葡萄進行自然發酵。Chateauneuf du Pape是酒莊出產的正牌紅葡萄酒，具有一定的陳年潛力。酒莊同時出產Cote-du-Rough leu-dit Calvin和Cote-du-Rough Blanc leu-dit Calvin。
1990在現任酒莊莊主Jean-Paul Daumen接手下酒莊迎來了新生，莊主採用勃艮第的方式將手中擁有的葡萄園細分，結合每一塊葡萄園的風土特色採用最適宜的栽種與採收方式，配合有機耕作與自然動力法並用( Demeter認證）。在釀造工藝上，Jean-Paul Daumen採用傳統釀造工藝，使用天然酵母與大水泥槽培養，不添加二氧化硫，不澄清不過濾，盡可能展示風土的獨特性和不同年份的特點。於1994年發布的Châteauneuf-du-Pape受到Robert Parker的青睞，酒莊屢屢釀造出極為出色的葡萄酒，酒評家Robert Parker對 此酒莊讚譽有加，曾给予Chateauneuf du Pape Reserve這三年份2001、2003、2005滿分佳續。從一開始的默默無名，到後來的炙手可熱，靠的並不是一時僥倖，新接班人的大刀闊斧加上自然環境的變化，讓Vieille Julienne酒莊迅速成為Châteauneuuf-du-Pape火紅的新興酒莊。

The 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape Les TroisSources comes from the estate’s vineyards planted in sandy soils. About 10,000bottles have been produced. One of the great wines of the vintage, thisunbelievable Chateauneuf is still extremely young and primary. Its opaquepurple color is followed by scents of ink, acacia flowers, blueberries, blackraspberries and blackberries. While full-bodied, extremely concentrated andmassive, the wine is totally harmonious with beautifully integrated acidity,tannin and alcohol (which is no doubt in excess of 16%).
(based on 60% grenache): Bright purple.Explosive aromas of dark berry liqueur, potpourri, candied licorice andsandalwood. Lush and expansive, offering sweet blackberry and blueberry flavorsand an exotic floral pastille nuance. Closes sappy, sweet and impressivelylong, with intense lavender and dark berry flavors and harmonious, framingtannins.

A densely packed version, with notes ofcrushed plum, fig paste and blackberry preserves at the core, set against abackdrop of charcoal, ganache and singed anise. Still tightly wound, with avery grippy finish. The acidity is lively and well-embedded, so this shouldopen nicely in the cellar.

A new cuvee for this estate and a blend of60% Grenache and the rest a mix of Syrah, Mourvedre, and Cinsault that comesfrom tiny yields of 22 hl/hectare, the 2010 Les Trois Sources delivers adecidedly mineral-drenched array of sweet plum, violets, black licorice, wildflowers, and hints of herbs on the nose. Perfumed, complex, and showing theestate’s hallmark freshness and purity, this full-bodied Châteauneuf-du-Pape iselegant and streamlined on the palate, with beautiful underlying concentration,ripe tannin, and a long finish. It will drink well for 10-12 years.
