Akitu（阿基圖酒莊）位於紐西蘭的 Central Otago（中部奧塔哥）產區，是該產區內一座知名的家族酒莊。Central Otago 地處紐西蘭南島南端，是全球最靠南的葡萄酒產區，擁有種植世界頂級Pinot Noir 的地理優勢和自然條件。

“Akitu”在毛利語中的意思是“頂峰、最高點”。 Akitu酒莊地處海拔 380米高的山坡上，面積為 12公頃的葡萄園被分為 6塊地，種植著約 40,000多株葡萄樹。葡萄園散佈于 Wanaka湖區，清澈湛藍的湖水作為灌溉水源和天然的溫度調節器，讓湖區周邊的微氣候保持穩定，Wanaka子產區也因此出產極小，品質極高。

多年以來，Akitu酒莊一直精心培育著 Pinot Noir 葡萄，每年不同的天氣狀況和每塊地不同的風土都會讓葡萄具有不同濃度的香氣和風味，這為調配葡萄酒提供了更多的選擇。在 Pinot Noir 葡萄的栽培上，酒莊一直堅持兩個信念：一是耐心，二是堅持。酒莊無微不至地照料著葡萄園裡 45 排 Pinot Noir 葡萄藤，致力於出產優質的 Pinot Noir 葡萄，釀造出能夠完美反映當地風土特色的美味葡萄酒。

Andrew Donaldson 是 Akitu酒莊的創建者，Pinot Noir 死忠粉。抓住一個偶然的機會，在 Wanaka地區找到 6 塊適合的土地開闢葡萄園，他把中部奧塔哥當成了自己的第二故鄉，在這裡實現了他建立屬於自己酒莊的夢想。Steve Blackmore 是酒莊的經理，畢業于 LincolnUniversity，在獲得葡萄栽培學學位後，他曾就職于一家酒莊，在那裡積攢了豐富的工作經驗。現在，他嚴格把控著 Akitu酒莊從葡萄發芽到葡萄酒裝瓶的每一個細節。而釀酒顧問更是澳洲釀酒界超級大咖 PJ Charteris，在澳洲傳奇酒莊——獵人谷Brokenwood 工作的 12年間，拿遍所有澳洲釀酒師獎項，是澳洲葡萄酒產業在國際上的形象代言人。

This is a delicate example of Central Otago, diverging from the archetypal style. Lifted, pure and intriguing, with festive spices, it is light in body, although the 14% alcohol brings a touch of weight to the midpalate. The aromatics wax and wane, offering violets, smoked paprika, and then along come orange peel and rhubarb on the next sniff, with cherries bringing up the rear. I’m a sucker for this wine’s intriguing scent, although I’d love a little more substance in terms of concentration if I’m being a nitpicker.
