酒莊位於意大利 Piemonte 皮埃蒙特地區 Monforte d’Alba,這裏是一片綿延起伏的平原,以 Barolo,Barbaresco 聞名,由 Alessandro 和 Gian Natale Fantino 兩兄弟創立於1998年,酒莊歷史雖然年輕,但也不容小覷,因為 Alessandro 早前在大名鼎鼎的傳統派 Bartolo 名莊 Cantina Bartolo Mascarello 工作了20年,管理葡萄園和擔任釀酒師一職,擁有非常豐富的傳統釀酒的方法與哲理。隨後1998年與兄弟 Gian Natale Fantino 在 Monforte 全身心投入經營8公頃的有機莊園,著名的 Barolo “特級園” Bussia,最早一批被定義為 Cru 的葡萄園,系享譽當地的明星園,借自法國勃艮第地分級園 Cru 概念,分析每一地塊獨特的風土結構,並將葡萄因地適宜的栽種在最適合生長的地方,以釀造出最能代表該特級葡萄園風土的酒,Vinous 葡萄酒專家 Antonio Galloni 常常被問到 :”who the up and coming producers are in Barolo. Alessandro and Gian Natale Fantino are among them”,Bussia 以酒質堅實,口感密集,雄渾強壯著稱,陳年之後方顯魅力。




葡萄栽種於 Bussia 的山坡中心位置 Dardi,朝向東南方,地理位置極佳,砂質黏土,葡萄藤年齡60年以上,人手採摘後在酒廠進行分揀,用天然的酵母在不銹鋼桶發酵25-30日,之後在 Slavonian oak 斯拉沃尼亞大桶熟成48個月(兩年在大的老桶,一年在2~3年的舊桶),以確保來自 Dardi 葡萄的美妙芳香不被遮蓋,儘量少地過濾,保持誘人的質感,完成木桶陳釀再瓶陳直至酒莊上市,年產6000支。這裏 Bussia 出產的 Barolo 不乏 Nebbiolo 典型的單寧結構和陳年能力,相比 Monforte 南邊的和 Serralunga 顯得不會太硬,年輕時仍然能欣然親近飲用。

The 2010 Barolo Cascina Dardi Bussia hits all the right marks with a beautiful sense of elegance and grace that is immediately apparent. The aromas dangle in front of you, delicately and seductively, with ethereal layers of spice, blue flower, almond paste, anisette and dried cherry or wild berry. The workmanship here reflects an attention to the minute details offered by Nebbiolo. The tannins are silky and long with deeply polished texture. Barolo Cascina Dardi Bussia is a fine, poised and super-confident expression.

Dark, rich and ample, the 2010 Barolo Cascina Dardi-Bussia boasts superb depth and pure texture. Sweet, mentholated and spiced notes typical of Dardi open up beautifully in the glass, followed by intense layers of fruit that totally saturate the palate. Smoke, tobacco, cedar and dried flowers add the final nuances of complexity in this super-classic Barolo. A virile, masculine finish rounds things out. The 2010 was aged in cask for 18 months, then 6 months in steel.
