Chateau Le Moulin 很早就已經為人所知，酒莊位於 Barbanne 河附近，大半面積都與 Cloquet 高原接壤，在當時不僅僅進行葡萄酒的釀造，甚至還生產香甜可口的麵包。根據文獻資料所記載，磨坊莊園具體的歷史可以追溯至19世紀，人們當時習慣把它叫做“ Moulin de Lavaud ”。1969年，酒莊被賣給了Michel Querre和 Genevieve Querre。在購買時該莊園被稱為 Vieux Chateau Cloquet。Querre家族更名為 Chateau Le Moulin，並開始翻新。新主人花了幾年時間進行修正，知道1997年才生產出第一批酒。他們最近重新種植了葡萄園並重建了釀酒設施。現在，Chateau Le Moulin 聘請 Dr. Alain Raynaud 擔任釀酒顧問。

This is a somewhat under-the-radar, consistently excellent Pomerol that in some vintages has a stylistic kinship with the famous Le Pin. Earthy, deep ruby/plum/purple with notes of forest floor, black cherry jam, licorice and Christmas spices, the wine is medium to full-bodied, opulent, round, juicy and very successful. Soft and round with excellent concentration and purity, drink it over the next 10-15 years.
