Chateau Rol Valentin 的確係一款好酒! 每次在The Grand Cercle des Vins de Bordeaux 試酒會，無論佢匿埋係一眾Grand Crus Classes 裡頭，甚至對手係Classes B，以佢咁出色既酒無論係邊，都好似黑夜裡既瑩火蟲一樣咁鮮明出眾，其實原因好簡單，因為佢比一眾對手更適合早飲，這裡解釋一下每年試酒會左右岸同場比試，一般都係試新年份，右岸每每會比左岸有更好的發揮，就係因為右岸適合早飲，而當你搵支新鮮出爐硬磞磞的Lynch Bage去試，抱著好高的期望，一般都會失望而回，老老實實，技安真係好佩服那些酒評家，能預先將新酒打分並預估未成熟酒既潛力，只可以講佢地係同一款酒不同年份試過了N次，憑經驗話佢知這些童星將來會成為天王巨星一樣。而Chateau Rol Valentin 確實有早飲的優勢，所以並不是說他在何時何地都能擊敗一眾強勁對手，所以酒界裡頭經常出現一幕幕以小勝大的赤壁場面，原因不外乎鄭中基跟我地唱過的歌 <時間、人物和地點>，時間-那瓶酒在此時此刻的狀態，人物-背後釀酒師和顧問團隊，地點-Terroir，當然還要望（天）打掛~

每次提到波爾多酒莊，都似叫碟例菜牌咁講出酒莊有幾百歷史，但Chateau Rol Valentin正好相反，屬於較短歷史的酒莊，第一個年份出酒係1994年，由一位歐州足球球星 Eric Prissette買下經營（要請教一下球壇老前輩呢位球員資料先得），酒莊約有7.3公頃，在09年轉手到Nicolas Robin手上，佢係右岸名星級酒莊Robin姊妹（Chateauc Lafleur 同Chateau Le Gay ) 個侄😂，真係要有咩親戚都要搬晒出黎！釀酒顧問Stephane Derenoncourt唔駛多提，跟開小編文章都知呢個名係品質既保証，樹齡有40年以上，18個月新橡木桶陳熟，由於此酒散發濃郁果香甜美、細膩柔滑，仿似熱戀的情侶😂，所以又叫情人堡💏

The 2009 Rol-Valentin has a more reserved, but harmonious bouquet with ample brambly red fruit laced with sage, fennel and light pencil box aromas. The palate is very smooth on the entry, harmonious and poised with a fine bead of acidity. This is very well structured, spicier than many with cracked black pepper and sage towards the finish.One of the best Rol-Valentin vintages in recent years.

A fleshy, inviting style, with lots of crushed fig and steeped blackberry fruit woven with warmed cocoa and pain d'épices, all backed by a distinctly racy graphite note. Stays fleshy through the finish without being heavy. Best from 2013 through 2028.
