▶️百分百50歲以上的老藤Garnacha全部集中在高達900米的山坡之上的單一葡萄園, 位於西班牙Tabuenca區附近的Santa Barbara Hermitage, 風土獨特且有火星般的土壤, 不但有Basal, 還有深紅色的Siliceous Sandstones和頁岩!全手工採收,並用在地天然酵母發酵而成, 其中500 KG用上全梗Whole Cluster發酵, 令出品更通透輕巧, 另外500 KG則用上Open-Top Barrels發酵來增加複雜度, 最後一部份酒會在水泥桶中發酵不但能保持果香更能成就出更圓滑的口感! 隨後會混合在法國新桶和舊桶間陳熟12個月令出品能更有層次又不失新鮮活潑的果感而且也更巧妙地柔化單寧! 只限量生產約2,000支! 可遇不可求!

亮麗通透的紅寶石色, 香氣十分奔放, 不但果味充沛而且也有不俗的木桶氣息, 開瓶抖氣約30分鐘已十分ready, 有充沛的成熟士多啤梨和車厘子香氣,而且配上令人心動的乾玫瑰花香! 醒酒約1小時後, 層次感更加突出, 不但多了更多木桶氣息如朱古力, 煙絲和皮革, 更增了一些礦物感和黑茶香氣,真係令人愛不惜手! 入口十分和諧, 完美的展現出老藤的特色, 飽滿但不失細膩, 單寧又柔和且舒服,但又不失結構和力量! 再加上悠長優雅的收結, 風之谷果然不會令人失望!
🔍Vinosdel Viento係我地Wine Couple 全新引入的西班牙酒莊, 出品當然係一如既往地高質同抵飲啦! 酒莊的靈魂人物絕對係來自美國嘅莊主MichaelCooper, 佢又有“Vine Hunter”的稱號!他多年來致力在各地尋找合心水的高海拔、老藤和不用灌溉的葡萄園! 最後他情歸位處西班牙Aragon區的Calatayud DO並成立了Vinos Del Viento,這片土地自有其過人之處才能迷倒Michael Cooper啦, 不但位於高達600-1,000米的山坡, 而且還有貧瘠的Calcareous Clay土壤和名為Canto Rodado極特別的卵石, 最重要的是受名為Cierzo的強烈冷風長期吹向葡萄園, 令日夜溫差更大, 出品更溫柔且酸度更怡人, 一個又一個得天獨厚的風土條件與當地的老藤Garnacha和Carignan真的是天作之合, 所以Michael Cooper能釀造出溫柔動人且果味十足的酒款!
難怪成立僅僅數年便已備受賞識,多次獲Vinous, Wine Advocate及James Suckling給予90分以上的正面好評! 絕對是大家不能錯過的酒款!
From a single parcel of old bush-vine grenache on red-slate soil, this has aromas of dried red flowers and raspberries with leaves and gentle pastry notes. The palate has a very plush and ripe core of raspberry flavors with some red plums and redcurrants The tannins finish very ripe. Drink over the next five years.
Brilliant ruby-red. Pungent blackberry, cherry and vanilla aromas are accented by white pepper and smoky mineral flourishes. Juicy and expansive, offering concentrated dark berry and bitter cherry flavors and a sweetening touch of mocha. Chewy and gently spicy on the finish, which shows very good persistence and subtle tannic grip. This fruit-driven wine is awfully easy to drink now. Raised in used French oak barrels.
The top Garnacha is the 2017 La Ermita de Santa Bárbara, produced with grapes from a vineyard in the village of Tabuenca in Campo de Borja, low-yielding 50-year-old vines on red soils. The grapes fermented with some full clusters and indigenous yeasts, and the wine matured in second and third use 225-liter French oak barrels for 14 months. It is ripe but feels fresher than the 2016 I also tasted next to it, like there's an evolution toward more freshness and balance, even if the alcohol is higher in this low-yielding and concentrated vintage. The nose combines ripe berries and spices, a touch of smoke and earth, and the palate is full-bodied, juicy, voluptuous and generous with a slightly warm finish. It needs powerful food. 2,024 bottles and 19 magnums were filled in October 2019.
