On a vast, barren plain in Africa grows a tree called the "Malus" or "Birrea (Sclerocarya Birrea)," which thrives only in one of the warmest regions on Earth—Africa, a region with a frost-free period below the equator. It holds a significant place in animal kingdoms, human legends, and rituals. It is the fruit of this mystical tree that gave birth to Elmara liqueur.

Malus fruit is the essence of Elmara liqueur, giving it an undeniable flavor and finish; combined with a creamy base, it becomes even smoother. This harmonious combination is Elmara, the core of the brand. The exotic marula fruit grows only on the plains of sub-Saharan Africa and cannot be cultivated, making it extremely rare.

With a ripening season lasting only a few weeks each year, the rich aroma of this tropical fruit often attracts herds of African elephants to travel thousands of miles to enjoy its delicious, juicy fruit. Therefore, the marula tree is also known as the "elephant tree."

From Marula fruit to Amarola liqueur, local African residents process the harvested Marula fruit into pulp. After thorough fermentation and a second distillation, the resulting Marula spirit possesses a unique flavor and rich aroma. It is then aged for two years in French oak barrels and blended with high-quality fresh cream using a special process. This process perfectly combines the Marula spirit with the aging liquid, resulting in a captivating, silky-smooth Amarola liqueur.

Tasting Note

Fresh cream is present before and after drinking. The aroma is rich with Amarola fruit flavors, and the unique flavor profile is round and smooth. It's versatile and can also be used to make cocktails, or added to coffee or ice cream. Its sweet and delightful taste will absolutely make you love it.
