"If I could be known for just one thing, it would be that Ant Moore wines always brought joy and a great experience"
- Ant Moore, Owner & Winemaker
As an Aussie, I moved to New Zealand in 2002 and have since undertaken every adventure required to make wine. I've developed a number of bareblocks into vineyards, bought a winery and built it up, created a number of successful wine brands. With the benefit of hard-earned experience, we now have my signature wine "ant moore".
I am hands on with every aspect of the production, from managing my vines, harvesting the fruit, to processing the wine. I'm not afraid to try new and different approaches and to push the boundaries. To me that's what making wine is all about, constantly learning and enjoying the creative expression that is making wine.
Using a combination of old world techniques and modern winemaking practices, I have crafted a range of wines that I would love to drink myself. They tend to be characterized by dryness and purity. They are all about balance and character - values we live by on the vineyard and in our personal lives.

Ant Moore wines are born in the beautiful valleys of Marlborough in New Zealand's South Island. We own and lease 195 ha of vineyards across the region.
The Awatere, Waihopai, and Wairau Valley soils and stones create unique vines that are distinctive to the Marlborough region. With clear skies and warm weather, the vines are quick to ripen and produce very fruit-driven wines. With these perfect conditions, Ant and his team are meticulously crafting a mix of science and art.
In 2018 Appellation Marlborough Wine (AMW) was formed and trademark registered to protect Marlborough Wine. With an initial focus on Sauvignon Blanc, they are the only guarantee a wine is 100% pure Marlborough. Nothing else. No exceptions.
Earlier this year saw the release of the Wine Map of Marlborough, a beautifully crafted and educational tool, illustrating the Marlborough wine growing region. As a member of AMW (for our Sauvignon Blanc) and with the release of the map, the team at Ant Moore Wines thought it would be a great opportunity to release six sub-regional Sauvignon Blancs. An opportunity to dive deeper into the sub-regions of our appellation and showcase their unique characteristics and qualities.
We look forward to continuing to work alongside and champion AMW, and invite you to join us on the journey.
A lifted fresh herb nose with notes of white peach and tropical fruit. Nectarine and white peach balanced well with a dry stone minerality. A touch of dry phenolics from the skin ferment.
