Like any household name, Atilius’ humble beginnings have taken it far from its home in 14th century vineyards, capturing the heart, spirit, and liquid of nature, eager to expand its horizons as a true ambassador of Italian excellence.

Charismatic and convivial, Atilius is at home on the cottage dining table as well as filling flutes at Paris fashion week. Ever evolving with modern times, but all the while still capturing the simplicity of well-leavened focaccia or a carefully crafted Chianti bottle from a family vineyard.

In Chile, Italy and California, the Muscadine grape Moscato is the main grape variety used to make table wine. In Italy, Muscadine grapes are widely used to make sparkling wine, such as the famous Asti sparkling wine. The signature characteristics of Muscadine grapes make Muscat wine easily distinguishable from other wines. Muscat Asti is a low-sparkling Muscat wine made from the Muscat Canelli grape grown in the Piedmont region. The Piedmont region has a DOCG (designated origin) and also produces Asti Barbera wine, Asti Dolcetto wine and Asti sparkling wine. In Lithuania, Muscadine grapes are also used to make a sparkling wine called Alita.

Tasting notes: with straw yellow and green reflections. Slightly sweet, with fresh fruit flavors of peach, pear and apricot, with a hint of lavender. The finish is balanced and rounded.
