Distillery

Catto’s Rare Old Scottish Whisky first appeared in 1861, based on single malt whisky from the Highlands and grain whisky from the Lowlands. The core of the recipe is made from malt from three local distilleries: Strathdee, Devanha, and Bon Accord. To this day, Catto’s Rare Old Scottish remains true to its original recipe of the finest malt and grain whisky, having built a first-class reputation among a wide and influential clientele. A smooth and timeless spirit, it continues to be celebrated around the world.

Rating

Aroma: Bright and fragrant with fresh citrus and a pronounced honey aroma.

Palmistry: Displays rich fruity notes such as pineapple, mango, and banana, accented with hints of honey and toffee sweetness. The finish features orange and peach notes, adding further complexity.

Finish: Long and lingering, with subtle hints of oriental beauty tea and spices that enhance the overall flavor profile.
