Pmerolol is one of the most prestigious appellations on Bordeaux's right bank, renowned for producing world-class Merlot wines. The winery's vineyards, covering approximately 4 hectares, feature typical Pomerol clay and gravelly soils. Planted primarily with Merlot and supplemented with Cabernet Franc, and adjacent to the renowned Chateau Clinet and Lafleur-Pétrus, the terroir boasts an exceptionally advantageous location.

The clay-gravel soil structure of this plot imparts a unique depth and complexity to the wine—the clay provides structure and power, while the gravel offers excellent drainage and minerality. Philippe Niarfeix describes this terroir as possessing "the finesse and sensitivity of terroir."

Adhering to traditional Bordeaux winemaking principles while incorporating modern meticulous management, the wine is hand-harvested, using only the ripest grapes. Temperature-controlled fermentation is conducted in stainless steel tanks, with precise control over the extraction process. Aging in French oak barrels imparts complex spice and toasty aromas.
