Chateau Angelus began life as a modest estate in Saint Emilion. Through the efforts of owner Hubert, it rose to the top B category in 1996 and to the highest A category in 2012. Along the way, the quality of the wines has continuously improved, and so has the price of the wines! Château Angelus has now been handed over to his daughter Stephanie, while he has taken over the management of the family's boutique winery, Chateau Clos de Bouard, aiming to achieve the highest standards and create affordable, high-quality wines.

Coralie, having trained at Chateau Angelus with her father Hubert de Boüard since childhood, later spent ten years managing marketing for Chateau Clos de Bouard. She has extensive experience in both winemaking and winery management, and so, in 2012, she took over La Fleur de Boüard. Her continued success is a testament to her skill! She then took over Clos de Bouard in 2016.
