In 2007 the Schaetti family bought the Casalta farm: a manor house surrounded by 6 hectares of land. An estate which was largely uncultivated, including an area of about 2 hectares on which languished an old vineyard dating back to the seventies; a heritage that begged to be revitalized and enhanced, in order to return to live and to bear rich fruits.

The generous foresight of the Schaetti family and the competent expertise of its co-workers have totally revived the fortunes of this land, returning all the value it rightly deserved. In 2008 the new irrigation system was completed, reaching the system currently used in the vineyard in 2010.

The Vineyard 

 An old vineyard dating back to the seventies languished on part of what now forms the current vineyard, an area of 2 hectares; a heritage that begged to be revitalized and enhanced, in order to return to live and to bear rich fruits.The generous foresight of the Schaetti family and the competent expertise of its co-workers have totally revived the fortunes of this land, returning all the value it rightly deserved. In 2008 the new irrigation system was completed, reaching the system currently used in the vineyard in 2010.Currently the vineyard area covers approximately 5 hectares with vines of Sangiovese, Merlot and Foglia Tonda. The first bottling was put on the market in 2014 and the second in 2015. Now, we are all waiting for the results of the third, prized grape harvest.

Toscanetti 

Full expression of the Sangiovese grape on the typical Tuscany soil, harvested by hand, vinified exclusively in stainless steel tanks with very short maceration cycle to maintain the freshness and fruit essence to-gether with soft tannins.
