Corte Medicea winery was born from a passion for the Tuscan winemaking tradition. From its desire to follow the footsteps of the region’s greatest winemakers, Corte Medicea creates wines that express a vision of life as simple and pleasant but also intriguing and mysterious. The Corte Medicea vineyards are situated on picturesque rolling hills at an altitude of 380/400 meters, with clay/loam soils in the south of Tuscany.

Andrea Bernardini, Corte Medicea's consultant, is a passionate winemaker who has hit numerous home runs. In 2007, he graduated from Pisa, one of the best schools of enology in Italy. He earned his chops at Poggio Bonelli and Ruffino in Tuscany and trained in South Africa, Romania and Greece. After several years of experience, he is now a flying winemaker blending tradition and modern techniques to obtain high-quality wines with respect to the expression of the different grapes and terroir in which he works. He works hand in hand with Alex to produce these magical wines. 

Tasting Notes: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep ruby red color. Intense aromas of mocha and pepper, and fresh notes of red fruits like plums, blueberries, and raspberries. On the palate, elegant and silky, with a full body and harmonious tannins. Pair this wine with aged cheeses, game, and red meat.
