More than just a boutique winery, it's an artist who makes a stunning Tempranillo, and Wine Advocate honored Moro as “the shining star of the Ribera del Duero,” and in Wine Spectaor's 2017 edition, his Emilio Moro made the Top 100 list, and Wine Enthusiast recognized it as “one of the best wineries in the Ribera del Duero”. Wine Enthusiast even nominated Emilio Moro as the “Best Winery in Europe”, and it was also the only Spanish winery to be selected that year. With over 375 hectares of estate-owned vineyards, Emilio Moro Polvorete originates from young vines situated in the DO. Bierzo, in flat areas with deep soils. These vines are planted in clay-limestone soils at an altitude exceeding 750 metres above sea level and are cultivated according to the region's traditional agricultural practices.

In the winery, the grapes of Emilio Moro Polvorete are destemmed and gently pressed. Subsequently, the resulting must ferments at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, which ensures maximum freshness.
