Domaine Buisson Battault is a small-scale winegrower in the village of Meursault, producing only 2,500 cases annually. Current owner Francois joined his father in 1985 and took over the winery in 1991. He has modernized the winery's facilities while maintaining a pure, elegant style that reflects the unique character of the terroir.

Meursault, one of the three most renowned Burgundy white wine villages, lies south of Puligny, and its soil is composed of ancient limestone. The wines typically exhibit a golden color, with aromas of toasted almonds, hazelnuts, elderberry, white flowers, ferns, lime, verbena, cream, honey, citrus fruits, and rich minerality. Ripe fruit is beautifully balanced with elegant acidity.
