The birth of Grand Bateau originated from the cooperation between Barrière Frères and Chateau Beychevelle in the last century. The boat shaped patterns on the label symbolize the mythical sailboat of Chateau Beychevelle. Chateau Beychevelle is famous for its high quality since 1855 classification in Bordeaux.

Wine Making：Different plots’ juice were fermented separately. The grapes were put into the tank by gravity method, and the traditional pumping over method was adopted.

Ageing：In one year French oak for 12 months

The bright violet color is along with fresh red fruits aromas, the palate is succulent and full with spices hints. The tannins are elegant. Part of the must was from the famous winery, which proudly presents its exquisite layers and richness, the smoothness and complex body giving this wine more power and potential for ageing.

This wine is suitable for all kinds of meat dishes, such as grilled chicken, pan-fried lamb chops, etc.; it also goes well with most cheeses, especially soft cheeses. Simple summer barbecue is also a good choice, of course various Chinese dishes.
