Honbo Shuzo Co., Ltd. (Kojima Prefecture) Honbo Shuzo Co., Ltd. was founded in the 5th year of Meiji (1872 AD), inheriting the founder Honbo Matsuzaemon's deep-rooted spirit of "developing and revitalizing local industries and serving the society" that was deeply rooted in the countryside. , in the chaotic early years when Japan changed its name to Meiji, we started making shochu from potatoes, a specialty of the Satsuma region. Sake Brewing

Our brewery has several sake breweries, among which Hoshishazo in Kagoshima is famous for its specialty in brewing plum wine. This yuzu plum wine is made from Japanese yellow-skinned yuzu juice, then soaked with ripe plums. The wine is completely full-bodied and has no added flavors, colorings or sours. The wine is golden yellow in color and the freshness and sourness of grapefruit perfectly matches the sweetness of plum.

The golden and plump grapefruits squeeze out fresh juice, which is combined with the high-quality plum wine brewed by Hoshishazo to form a wonderful combo. The citrus aroma that washes off the bottle after opening the bottle is refreshing. The sweetness of plum wine and the strong sourness of yuzu juice interact with each other, making it especially refreshing and refreshing to drink.
