Lake Road crafts their Reserve Pinot Noir to highlight the natural purity of the fruit. Instead of overpowering the wine with heavy oak, the winemakers focus on preserving the grape's pristine high acidity, delicate florals, and fine-grained tannins. The result is an approachable yet refined cool-climate red that offers fantastic immediate drinking pleasure.

No oak was used. The wine was kept entirely in stainless steel to maintain a crisp, clean profile. It was stabilized, lightly fined, and filtered relatively quickly post-fermentation to ready it for early bottling.

This fruit-driven Marlborough Pinot Noir appeals with its full palate of ripe cherry, thyme, clove and nutmeg aromas.
