The name "Les Dauphins" pays homage to its terroir—the Old Dauphiné department in southeastern France. The vineyards are bordered by the French Alps to the east, the Rhône River to the west, and Provence to the south: this region boasts some of the finest plots in the Southern Rhône Valley. The climate is typically warm and sunny with low rainfall, and the soil types range from stony clay limestone to sandy soils.

The rich terroir diversity in the vineyards provides winemaking experts with a wide variety of grapes to blend into the finest vintages. Attention to detail in every step from harvest to brewing ultimately presents a full-bodied, fruity red wine. Both modern techniques and classic brewing processes (such as oak barrel aging) are used to perfection in the brewing process.

Officially positioned as “Fresh & Floral” Smooth on the palate, medium to full-bodied with ripe yellow pear, honeydew and lemon flavors, accompanied by light vanilla and toasted nuttiness, moderate acidity and good balance.
