The winery was founded in 2017 by an American couple, Denise Dupre and Mark Nunnelly, in partnership with French businessman Jean Luc Vitoux. It is known as a "high-end private custom wine merchant" in the wine industry. Unlike other Burgundy wine merchants, the winery only cooperates with organic or biodynamic grape growers, and does not use any blending. It adheres to the principle of one grape grower, one land, one wine, respecting and fully reflecting the personal characteristics of each grape grower and the diversity of Burgundy's charming Climat. The winery will not use new barrels, so as not to let the oak barrels cover the essence of the wine. This winery is definitely worth the attention of all Burgundy wine lovers!

Les Corbeaux is the only plot in the Côte d'Or named after "Raven". According to records, this first-class vineyard was once a cemetery in the Middle Ages, which led people to associate it with ravens. Some people also speculate that the name should come from the ancient word for "sunken", suggesting the slightly sunken terrain here. In terms of geology, Les Corbeaux is exactly the same as the neighboring Mazis-Chambertin, but it is closer to the exit of the valley. In hot weather, it benefits from cool winds and can produce grapes with more acidity and structure, so the wine is lighter and more elegant than the average Gevrey.
