Malfy Gin Malfy Gin boasts a rich history dating back to the 11th century. The distillery, established in 1906 and managed by the Vergnano family for generations, is located in Moncalieri, Piedmont, in northwestern Italy, a region renowned for its high-quality wines and spirits. The brand officially launched in 2016 and was later acquired by the global spirits group Pernod Ricard.

Founder Elwyn Gladstone believes that Italy, rather than the commonly accepted Netherlands or England, was the first country to produce gin. This is because, as early as the 11th century, Italian monks were already known to infuse pine nuts into gin.

Winemaking

 Malfy Gin Originale is distilled from juniper berries, coriander, and five other herbs, blended with local Italian water. The design on the bottom of the bottle is inspired by mountain lakes, while the label's colors represent the snow-capped peaks of Italy.
