Located in Epernay (Epernay), Champagne G.H. Martel & Co., established in 1869, is the fifth largest Champagne group in the world. It is run by the Rapeneau family from Marne for generations. The eagle in Victoire means victory.
The Rapeneau family has already produced and sold wine, spirits and champagne. Due to the history of Champagne and its proximity to the vineyards of the Champagne region, the Rapeneau family decided to focus on the production and brewing of champagne and has been operating since 1900. , After decades of experience, it is completely managed and operated by family members. Christophe Rapeneau is the fourth generation winemaker in the family and is also the cellar master and winemaker at Champagne G.H. Martel & Co.



Currently GH Martel & Co. is the fifth largest champagne group in the world, owning seven Champagne houses: ChampagneCharles de Cazanouve (Reims, 1811), Champagne GH Martel & Co. (Epernay, 1869), Champagne VieilleFrance (Reims, 1860), Champagne Chateau de Bligny (Côte des Bars, 1733), Champagne Paul Louis Martin (Bouzy, Montagne de Reims, 1864), Champagne Charles Orban (Troissy, Vallee de la Marne, 1770), Champagne Mansard (Epernay, 1953).

【Montagne de Reims】
The geographical location is northerly, the temperature is lower, the grapes mature slowly, and the acidity of the grapes is high. Therefore, the grapes produced in this production area are the best raw materials for making champagne.
The soil in the Mont Reims production area is mainly chalk soil, but compared to another Champagne production area, the Cote de Blancs, its topsoil contains more clay, making it more suitable for growing Pinot Noir, so this production area is known as the "Kingdom of Pinot Noir".


Tasting Note
The Gold Vintage of the Victoire Cuvee series is made from grapes from its own vineyards, most of which come from first-class vineyards. It has a delicate woody aroma with lovely hints of fresh hazelnuts and spices. The palate has ripe nectarine flavors, citrus fruits, blackberry flavors, and balanced acidity. Even though it has been aged for many years, it still feels fresh.
