Winery

Chateau Maris, located in the Cru Minervois La Liviniere AOC in Languedoc-Roussillon, southern France, was the first winery in the region to receive full Biodynamic certification. It now holds three authoritative organic and biodynamic certifications: Ecocert, Biodyvin, and Demeter. Wine Spectator has ranked Maris as one of the world's five most environmentally friendly wineries. In 2016, it became the first winery in Europe to receive B Corp certification, and in 2022, it further solidified its position with the Robert Parker Green Emblem, making it a pioneer in biodynamic and environmental practices in southern France.

Region

The vineyards are located on the Mediterranean coast, with soils primarily composed of limestone and clay. The winery employs organic farming methods to cultivate the grapes, carefully protecting the soil to produce healthy grapes.

Tasting Note

Delicate and fruity, a real pleasure. This Viognier Grenache reveals a distinct bouquet with floral notes offering white & yellow peach aromas. The taste is so balanced you want to go back for another glass.
