Sake Brewery

[Shohiro Shuzo-Okinawa’s oldest distillery]

Established in 1883, Shohiro Brewery is the largest and oldest distillery on Okinawa. Jingliuqiu whiskey is distilled from 100% high-quality rice and hand-selected by master blenders from whiskeys of different vintages to create a harmonious flavor and aroma. The whiskey is aged under the constant sunshine and sea breeze of Okinawa. The subtropical climate and marine conditions provide warm and humid storage conditions, accelerating the maturation process and demonstrating the uniqueness of Ryukyu whiskey, with subtle fruity, botanical flavors and a strong body texture.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Fresh, citrusy notes with lemon zest, floral notes, juniper berries, and a pleasant, subtle sweetness.

Palate: Bright, crisp citrus notes complement bittersweet, a touch of pepper, and minerality. Roselle adds a dry, rosy floral note that perfectly rounds out the flavor.

Finish: A lingering finish with spicy and herbal notes.
