Ono Shuzo is located in Yufu City, Oita Prefecture, Kyushu. It was founded in 1906 and is a brewery that mainly produces single-distillation barley shochu products. It also produces plum and fruit wine alcoholic beverages. In the past, it also engaged in the business of sake production. The raw materials used by the brewery are mainly purchased from barley, plums and fruits produced in the local Oita Prefecture.

Using fresh yuzu, a specialty of Japan's Oita, and cultivating it in a unique natural environment, the yuzu is rich in aroma and has a very sweet and sour taste. Because of the health and beauty effects of yuzu, yuzu wine has a high status in Japan.
