Santa Alicia Espumante Grand Cuvée Brut is produced by Viña Santa Alicia, a renowned Chilean winery founded in 1954.

Region

The winery's headquarters and core vineyards are located in the Pirque region of the Maipo Valley, at the foot of the Andes Mountains, the cradle of Chilean wine.

Surrounded by the majestic Andes Mountains, the winery benefits from pristine glacial meltwater that irrigates the vineyards throughout the Maipo Valley, providing ideal natural conditions for grape growing.

Santa Alicia Espumante Grand Cuvée Brut is produced in the Bío Bío Valley, a well-known cool-climate region in Chile. The cool climate allows the grapes to retain a crisp, naturally high acidity, resulting in a clean, crisp, and refreshing brut finish.

Winemaking 

The winery places great emphasis on controlling the microclimate and sunlight, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly under ample yet gentle sunshine, preserving their rich varietal characteristics and natural acidity.

Santa Alicia is one of Chile's officially certified sustainable wineries, actively promoting environmental protection, water conservation, and carbon reduction in its viticulture and winemaking processes, committed to maintaining ecological balance.

Using the precisely temperature-controlled Charmat process for secondary fermentation, and with contact with the lees for 45 to 60 days, the wine produces extremely fine and dense bubbles, a smooth palate, and subtle toasty aromas.
