Winery

Situated in the northern part of thecommune of Saint Estèphe, on the slopes facing the Gironde, the vines of thisChâteau are planted on a generous soil made of gravel and clay according to thegrape variety. The slope effect is a very good natural draining and theproximity of river keep stable temperature comparing to the land-heart. givinga great Saint-Estèphe wine. The Braquessac family, owner since 1860, respecttheir land treating it the less possible. The father (agricultural engineer)and the son (oenologist) are very active to improve quality day after day. Theresult is remarkable especially from the 2002 with more fruit and more aromaticexpression.

Rating/Tasting Note

This Wine has a fine and elegant bouquet, blendingclassic notes of raspberry and blackcurrant. The attack is full-bodied andfruity with a long finish of roasted notes. To be enjoyed with grilled beef andany type of cheese.
