Domaine La Mereuille is located in the Chateauneuf-du-Pape appellation in France's Rhône Valley. In 1950, owner Marcel Bouyer began planting vines on a large scale. In 1970, his son, Michel Bouyer, took over the estate. Today, Domaine La Mereuille is owned by Michel Bouyer's son-in-law, Philippe Granger.

Domaine La Mereuille encompasses 16 hectares of vineyards, including 4 hectares of AOC Châteauneuf-du-Pape and the remaining 12 hectares of Côtes du Rhône and Côtes-du-Rhône Village. The primary grape variety planted is Grenache, with an average age of over 80 years. Other varieties include Syrah, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, and Grenache Blanc.

Winemaking 

Domaine La Mereuile harvests its grapes by hand. The harvested grapes are either destemmed or left whole in clusters, depending on the conditions, and fermented in stainless steel tanks, concrete vats, or large oak barrels. For red winemaking, skin treading is also performed, as needed.
