Rancis Orban is located in the heart of the village of Leuvrigny in Vallee de la Marne, 15 km from Epernay enthusiasm, so it stands to reason that the winery is also a member of the Meunier Institut ~

Production Area Introduction - Vallee de la Marne

The winery is located in Vallee de la Marne.So there are several big champagne houses located just east of Vallee de la Marne, including:

Billecart-Salmon and Philiponnat are in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, Deutz and Bollinger are in Aÿ, and Jacquesson is in Dizy.

As for the chalk on the west side, it is located in the deeper soil, the surface layer is mainly clay, marl and sand, and because Pinot Meunier is adaptable to play on soil where other grapes do not perform well, 60% of the Pinot Meunier in the area is located here.

Grape Introduction - Pinot Meunier Pinot Meunier

Meunier was discovered in the 16th century as a variant of Pinot Noir, although Chen may not be as good as the other 2 champagne grapes, but relatively fruity, round, and softer acidity, the style can be more easily pleasing ~

Although it is considered an early germinating variety, Pinot Meunier has been re-emphasized in recent years, more and more wineries are producing 100% Pinot Meunier to organize a group of Meunier-loving brewers.

Winemaking

This even unaged Brut Prestige uses 50% of the vintage wine of the year, bottled for at least 36 months, almost 2 years more than the legal 15 months, with only 5g/L leftover sugar, dry and refreshing
