Girard Winery is located in Napa Valley, California's most prestigious wine region. For over 30 years since planting its first vine, the winery has upheld the Napa Valley spirit, dedicated to producing the highest quality wines.

Currently, Girard Winery is undergoing a restructuring. Shortly after 2000, Pat Roney, a long-time figure in the California wine industry, purchased the estate and implemented sweeping reforms. Roney's first encounter with the wine industry was as a sommelier at a renowned bar in Chicago during his studies. After graduating, he continued his career as a sommelier. Later, he returned to his hometown, Sonoma Valley, to pursue his passion, serving as general manager at two prominent wineries, Chateau St. Jean and Kunde.

Girard Winery primarily produces Chardonnay white wines and Cabernet-based blends of red wine. Meanwhile, the winery also began focusing on other grape varieties, planting Zinfandel and Petite Sirah in a scattered pattern within Napa Valley.
