Chateau Rol Valentin 2016 Saint Emilion Grand Cru 情人堡 375ml《FH187》

Chateau Rol Valentin（情人堡）位於法國波爾多的 Saint-Emilion（聖艾美隆）葡萄酒產區，是一家非常年輕的酒莊。

1994年6月份，前足球員 Eric Prissette 在聖艾美隆的中心地帶買下了一座周圍環繞著葡萄園的美麗房子。 他將那些葡萄園重新命名為 Rol Valentin，並且在不久之後把葡萄園的面積擴大到了7.3公頃。 2009年，Nicolas Robin 和 Alexandra Robin 購買了該酒莊，還聘請到大名鼎鼎的Stéphane Derenoncourt來當釀酒顧問。 經過幾年的發展，Chateau Rol Valentin 如今已是聖埃美隆產區特級莊的代表酒莊。

葡萄園主要種植90% Merlot、5% Cabernet Franc 以及5% Cabernet Sauvignon。 酒莊的葡萄全部採用人工採摘，之後放入可控溫的木質發酵桶內，在經過18個月的橡木桶陳年後（100%新木桶），才可進行裝瓶。 釀製早期，酒的顏色是不透明的，散發著熟透的黑醋栗果香，甘草香，以及野草的芬芳，果香濃鬱，富含黑紅果香並帶有細膩柔滑的單寧質感。

過去10年裡 Chateau Rol Valentin 是 Saint-Emilion 地區叱吒風雲的酒莊之一，該酒莊生產的“車庫酒”，其產量很小，顏色較深，濃鬱強烈，有成熟的 水果香以及濃重的橡木桶味道。由於酒莊名裡的 “Valentin”一字，因此也被暱稱為「情人堡」。副牌酒名為 Les Valentines，並且採用幾位小天使捧著愛心的圖案以及可愛字體的設計，酒質也非常甜美討喜，儼然是為了情人們所設計的美酒！

Chateau Rol Valentin 的確係一款好酒! 每次在The Grand Cercle des Vins de Bordeaux 試酒會，無論佢匿埋係一眾Grand Crus Classes 裡頭，甚至對手係Classes B，以佢咁出色既酒無論係邊，都好似黑夜裡既瑩火蟲一樣咁鮮明出眾，其實原因好簡單，因為佢比一眾對手更適合早飲，這裡解釋一下每年試酒會左右岸同場比試，一般都係試新年份，右岸每每會比左岸有更好的發揮，就係因為右岸適合早飲，而當你搵支新鮮出爐硬磞磞的Lynch Bage去試，抱著好高的期望，一般都會失望而回，老老實實，真係好佩服那些酒評家，能預先將新酒打分並預估未成熟酒既潛力，只可以講佢地係同一款酒不同年份試過了N次，憑經驗話佢知這些童星將來會成為天王巨星一樣。而Chateau Rol Valentin 確實有早飲的優勢，所以並不是說他在何時何地都能擊敗一眾強勁對手，所以酒界裡頭經常出現一幕幕以小勝大的赤壁場面，原因不外乎鄭中基跟我地唱過的歌 <時間、人物和地點>，時間-那瓶酒在此時此刻的狀態，人物-背後釀酒師和顧問團隊，地點-Terroir，當然還要望（天）打掛~

This has attractive plum pastry and blueberries on the nose, leading to a very nicely carved palate that has fine but sturdy tannins and good depth of ripe plum and mulberry flavors.

The 2016 Rol Valentin has a medium to deep garnet-purple color and offers up straight-laced, serious notions of fragrant earth, cigar box and sautéed herbs over a core of warm plums, mulberries and blueberry preserves. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is completely packed with muscular fruit, with a firm, grainy texture and loads of freshness, finishing long and berry laced.

One of the standouts of the vintage, the 2016 Rol Valentin is fabulous. Rich, sumptuous and forward, with striking purity to its fruit, the 2016 shows the more opulent side of Saint-Emilion to dramatic effect. Succulent red cherry, plum, spice, chocolate, espresso, mint and rose petal race across the palate. Sumptuous and racy, but not at all heavy or overdone, the 2016 hits all the right notes. Bright floral overtones and veins of salinity add freshness throughout. This is a gorgeous and impeccably balanced wine. The 2016 was fermented in oak vat and underwent malolactic fermentation in barrel. The blend is 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a terrific effort from proprietors Alexandra and Nicolas Robon and consulting winemaker Julien Lavenu.
