1782
Jacques Rebourseau is a respected winemaker from Lugny. His son Claude Rebourseau settled at Roche Vanneau in 1782. Simple and attentive producers, they were part of this rural and hardworking class attached to viticulture. They pass on their passion to their children, including Jean-Baptise Rebourseau.
1839
Born in 1839, Jean-Baptiste Rebourseau married Louise-Victoire Philippon in Gevrey in 1861. It brings together several plots including the Grands Crus of Gevrey-Chambertin which have remained in the family since that date. He passed the estate on to his two sons, Émile and Henri.
1897
General Henri Rebourseau is the son of Jean-Baptiste Rebourseau. While he was mobilized on the front during the Great War, his brother Émile Rebourseau took care of the Domaine. In 1919, the General returned to Gevrey where he settled in the Maison de la Brunelle, a property built in the middle of the 18th century. A charismatic personality, in 1929 he created the Chambertin defense union, which he chaired for many years. He is also the first wave of producer who bottled their own wine, getting the name famous.
1949
General Henri Rebourseau entrusts the keys to the Domaine to his son Pierre Rebourseau. A polytechnician like his father, he devoted himself to his passion for vines after a career in industry at the head of the De Dietrich group. He was president of the Clos de Vougeot and Chambertin unions.
1980
Pierre Rebourseau entrusts the management of the estate to his grandson Jean de Surrel. Upon his arrival, he began a turning point in the history of the Domaine. Jean de Surrel adopts sustainable, then organic in 2006, viticulture combined with bio-dynamic work in 2008. With the help of one of the Burgundy's figure Anne-Claude Leflaive, the Domaine fully committed to biodynamic in 2011.

Henri Rebourseau located in Gevrey Chambertin, owning 13.5 hectare from Vougeot to Gevrey Chambertin, one of the largest owner, including 5 Grand Cru,2 Premier Cru and 2 Village wine
The Gevrey Chambertin Aux Corvees extends south from Gevrey-Chambertin, and Au Corvees is situated in a relatively flat and fertile area. Henri Rebourseau owns 2.35 hectares of this land, with vines averaging over 50 years old, soil depths of about one to two meters, and loosely distributed stones.

2018
In December 2018 the Bouygues family joined the Henri Rebourseau estate. As majority shareholders, Martin and Olivier Bouygues joined forces with Jean de Surrel to perpetuate the estate's heritage.
Thanks to the Bouygues family, the property safeguards its family dimension by preserving the unity of its wine heritage and the traditions that have been attached to it for seven generations.
The vision shared by the owners of the estate is to “Bring the production of each appellation to its best level”.
Renovation of vineyard management and modernization of the winery made significant improve.
