背景

1405年就已開業的傳統釀造世家·當時由 Taupenot 及 Merme 兩家族 共同經營·1998由第7代傳人弟弟 Romain接管,及後姐姐 Virginie Taupenot 加入共同經營,Virginie負責對外,而Romain 則專心釀酒。在姊弟同心協力之下,質素口碑不斷提升,就連葡萄酒女王 Jancis Robinson 也曾說過酒莊質量每年也在提升 they have a determination to make better wine every year’ and this situation has continued with …”。時至今天酒莊已是布根地無人不識的精品酒莊。雖然酒莊總共有13公頃田園,以獨立酒酒莊來說規模很,而且遍佈20AOC但卻非常著重質量,刻意降低收成量,提升葡萄質素。又於2001年開始有機耕作,與很多布根地的大師一樣,認為好的葡萄酒是始於葡萄園土壤,其他的都只是輔助。另外,酒莊同時也是法國獨立酒莊協會(Vignerons Independants de France)的元老會員之一對於宣揚獨立酒莊的精緻化農業有著莫大的貢獻。 酒莊旗下的Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru "Combe d'Orveau"Charmes Chambertin Grand CruMazoyères Chambertin Grand Cru 三款佳釀由於產量少品質超優,常常一推出即被老行家一掃而空。

 

 

 

Gevrey Chambertin Bel Air

Bel Air 毗鄰3Grand cruClos de Bèze Ruchottes Mazis Grand Cru 田。跟鄰居 Ruchottes du Dessus 還是有區別的,在於Bel Air一級園的坡度更陡,也更靠近樹林(後方還有一塊Bel Air村地當緩衝),所以這裡的平均日照要比 Ruchottes du Dessus 要少,而且表土則比 Clos de Bèze 高坡處更稀少,酒體的酸度較高,酒體細緻優雅但兼具結構。英國葡萄酒大師Jancis Robinson Bel Air一級園的描述如下:

" Similar soil and elevation as Ruchottes. Steeper slope than Ruchottes. Lots of fresh air circulates from Combe St-Jacques. Very refined and precise. Not opulent. But sinewy and with a significant story to tell. Lots of fine tannin in evidence. Very clean finish."


釀造時,通常採收日期取決於品嚐葡萄的種子這是酚類成熟度的良好指標。採收是全人手並且經過嚴格篩選在進行冷浸泡約十天已提取風味和色澤之前完全去梗。發酵在溫控不鏽鋼桶進行。莊主理念是不接種不添加人工酵母,發酵僅由野生的本地酵母進行。 在整個發酵過程中,小心地清除色素和殘渣,以實現多酚(尤其是單寧酸)的溫和提取。 蘋果酸乳酸發酵可以自然地在桶中進行。

🏅Vinous 92+ Points

Bright red. Classic 2014 lift to the aromas of red cherry, spices and rose petal. Juicy and penetrating, with vibrant cranberry, pomegranate and raspberry fruit flavors further sharpened by saline minerality. Still tightly wound, even a bit austere on the back end, this wonderfully brisk, sappy wine really stimulates the salivary glands.

 

🏅Burghound 92 Points

A cool, pure and restrained nose displays the attractively fresh essence of red pinot fruit, lavender and discreet earth nuances. There is equally good freshness and detail to the utterly delicious, complex and mineral-driven medium-bodied flavors that display a taut muscularity as well as a sophisticated mouth feel thanks to the fine-grained tannins shaping the saline and impressively intense finish. This too is really quite good and worth checking out.


🏅Wine Advocate 90-92 Points

The 2014 Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru Bel Air has a tightly wound, slightly floral bouquet that just needs to develop a little more intensity. The palate has a citrus-fresh entry, quite minerally and transparent with a fine line of acidity; it is precise towards the Morey-like finish that is stern and laconic at the moment, but it should find its voice with time. 


🏅Jancis Robinson 17+/ 20

Very refined and precise. Not opulent. But sinewy and with a significant story to tell. Lots of fine tannin in evidence. Very clean finish. 2021 - 2034
