Chateau Brown 坐落於波爾多的 Pessac-Léognan 產區，該產區成立於1987年九月，面積1150公頃，位於波爾多西南部，屬於波爾多新興產區。雖然個性風味與鄰近的 Graves 相似，但產區限制比 Graves 來得嚴格，釀出的酒香氣更為顯著，酒體結構更嚴謹。Chateau Brown 於18世紀末期，由定居於波爾多的蘇格蘭酒商Brown家族創立，到了二十世紀時，則隸屬於MAU家族，擁有453公頃。使用人工採收葡萄，所採摘下來的葡萄經由不銹鋼桶進行酒精發酵，在釀酒的每個過程都要求達到盡善盡美，並採用橡木桶陳年，增添更多層次。

Chateau Brown現在佔地60公頃，紅葡萄酒26公頃，白葡萄酒5公頃。對於紅葡萄酒，葡萄園主要由赤霞珠（55％）和梅洛（40％）組成，但也有5％的小維多。該酒店專用白葡萄酒產區的葡萄品種分為70％的長相思和30％的Sémillon。葡萄園以每公頃7400株葡萄樹的密度種植，分為兩個礫石區，第一個是在該區域的北半部，第二個是在最南端。最高，最佳排水和最佳的深層礫石地塊專用於種植赤霞珠，而種植梅洛地則為粘土礫石土壤。用於生產白葡萄酒的植物種植在葡萄酒最多黏土和多沙的土壤上。整個風土由大部分細碎石組成，散佈在蘆薈中的是沙質和鐵質物質。

酒莊提倡環境友好型的種植管理方式，在葡萄園中推行生物動力法，並於2018年獲得了高環保價值（Haute Valeur Environnementale，簡稱HVE）認證。

lackcurrant, stewed-blackberry, thyme, bark and licorice aromas. It’s full-bodied with firm, fine tannins and a flavorful finish. It really grows on the palate.

Sleek, pure and refined, with cassis, damson plum and cherry reduction flavors laced with subtle tar, graphite and mesquite notes. Flashes of anise and red tea on the fine-grained finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Best from 2022 through 2032.

The 2018 Chateau Brown is well defined on the nose, offering plenty of black fruit laced with hints of espresso and dark chocolate, and just a faint star anise note hovering on the background. The palate is medium- bodied with slightly gritty tannins on the entry, fine acidity and nice focus. Though it misses some depth and flesh toward the finish, it does have a spring in its step and it should drink nicely for 12-15 years.
