Sottimano 莊園的歷史始於1960年代後期,Rino Sottimano 在完成了 Enological School的課程之後,開始接手葡萄園進行釀酒。Rino Sottimano 深信只有通過熱情工作和對自然的尊重才能釀造出優質的葡萄酒,自1990年以來,他的葡萄園一直以最少的化學物質和化肥工作,以保持自然平衡和土壤肥沃。 Rino Sottimano 與妻子 Ana 一起,並將自己的熱情傳給了自己的孩子 Andrea 和 Elena。

The 2008 Barbaresco Pajore, from one of the best vineyards in Treiso, is a harmonious, totally complete wine. It flows from the glass with menthol, spices, pine, dark cherries and licorice in a wonderfully expressive style that captures the essence of this site. It is one of the few 2008s that has fine definition in aromatics, fruit and structure. All of the elements meld together beautifully towards the sweeping finish. This is undeniably attractive. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2028.
