自 1772 年起，Champagne Veuve Clicquot（凱歌香檳）就開始釀制高質量的香檳酒，這個古老香檳品牌的歷史與一位傑出的女性——Clicquot 夫人緊緊聯繫在一起。

Clicquot 夫人的公公——Philippe Clicquot 在法國北部創立了這個品牌。1775 年，Champagne Veuve Clicquot 就創造性地釀制出了世界上第一款粉紅香檳，從那時起，Champagne Veuve Clicquot 便成為了粉紅香檳釀制的標準。1798 年，肩負振興家族事業使命的 Philippe Clicquot之子 Francois 與 Barbe Nicole Ponsardin，即後來的 Clicquot 夫人，結為連理。1805 年，Francois 英年早逝，他年僅 27 歲的遺孀——Clicquot 夫人，力排眾議，不顧世俗的眼光和懷疑，毅然繼承了丈夫的事業。她以充沛過人的精力，睿智果敢的勇氣和活潑智慧的心靈，帶領 Champagne Veuve Clicquot 走過了最艱辛的時期。19 世紀初，歐洲處在 Nepoleon 的封鎖當中，Clicquot 夫人機智地突破貿易封鎖，將10550瓶1811年的香檳酒運往俄羅斯，至此在俄國大受歡迎在隨後的幾年內，凱歌香檳成為全球最知名的品牌之一，香檳逐漸供不應求，凱歌夫人也被眾人尊稱為“香檳的偉大夫人”

在追求完美和勇於創新的信念驅動下，Clicquot 夫人於 1816 年發明了有效去除沉澱的開孔轉瓶法，釀造出酒質清澈，品質超群的香檳酒，這舉世矚目的技術革新引領了香檳釀造業的潮流。200 年前，當大部分酒標都選用黯啞的色調時，凱歌夫人選用燦爛的金黃色作為凱歌香檳的標誌，這項偉大的創舉讓凱歌香檳由內而外表現得更加傑出！她的進取精神和睿智果敢也得到了世人的認同，被親切地譽為“Grand Dame of Champagne”。1986 年，Champagne Veuve Clicquot 被世界頂級奢侈品公司 LVMH 集團收購。

目前 Champagne Veuve Clicquot 旗下的 393 公頃葡萄園都是 Clicquot 夫人以及她的繼承者多年以來一塊塊地買下的，其中 12 處葡萄園歸屬於特級園，20 處葡萄園歸屬於一級園。葡萄藤大多位於緩坡上，使葡萄藤受益於淺層土壤和最大程度地暴露在陽光下，無論是從規模還是品質上看，Champagne Veuve Clicquot 已然是整個香檳產區最重要的葡萄園之一。

Champagne Veuve Clicquot 所有批次的葡萄（按照葡萄的種類、葡萄園，甚至葡萄地塊的不同）都分開保存，在溫控的不銹鋼酒桶中發酵，並進行完全的蘋果酸-乳酸發酵。釀酒師對葡萄酒和釀酒過程的熟悉及瞭解，使得 Champagne Veuve Clicquot  能夠釀制出品質始終如一的非年份香檳酒，如皇牌特級香檳（Brut Yellow Label）、半幹特級甜香檳（Demi-Sec）等。在收成好的年份，酒莊能夠混合勾兌出出色的年份香檳酒。香檳酒的混合比例並非一成不變的，但是大部分的 Champagne Veuve Clicquot 年份酒中，Pinot Noir 的比例為 60% 左右。年份香檳的酒質一貫出色，散發著黑醋栗和奶油蛋卷的香味，風格成熟，酒體相對飽滿， 陳年後風味更佳。近期最佳年份有：1996 年、1990 年和 1955 年。

This has aromas of grapefruit, pomegranates, and biscuits. It’s honeyed and sleek with a medium body and supple bubbles. Soft and creamy finish. Majority pinot noir, with chardonnay and meunier. Around 40% reserve wines. 10g/l dosage.

A crisp and lacy Champagne, with a hint of smoke underscoring flavors of poached apricot, pastry cream and pickled ginger. An overtone of Mandarin orange peel ties it all together.

🏅 Vinous 90 pts

(roughly 50% pinot noir, 30% chardonnay and 20% pinot meunier; Lot 14009913): Light gold. Musky orchard fruits and dried fig on the mineral-accented nose. Fleshy and broad on the palate, offering smoky pear and nectarine flavors and a hint of honey. Finishes on a gently spicy note, with very good cling and a touch of bitter lemon pith. Things have definitely begun to turn around for this bottling, which had been lagging behind the winery's vintage offerings for some time.
