飛龍世家（Chateau Phelan Segur）位於波爾多左岸的名產區 Saint Estephe。Phelan Segur 的始創人 Nicolas Alexandre De Segur ，當時他同時擁有 Mouton Rothschild 武當，Lafite Rothschild 拉斐和 Chateau Latour 拉圖，風頭一時無兩。其後轉讓給 Bernard Phelan 和他的兒子 Frank Phelan ，改名為 Chateau Phelan Segur。Frank Phelan 是一位十分有魄力的生意人，他同時也是一位出色的釀酒師，在他購入酒莊後自行設計及建造城堡，釀酒房不單只是美觀、宏壯、實用，而且今天波爾多的釀酒家都認為他所設計的配合了科學原素，對當時來講極具前瞻性，為釀造佳釀提供極有利的環境條件。因此 Phelan Segur 曾經是一間相當優秀的酒莊，但後來 Frank Phelan 之後，酒莊經歷幾度轉手，品質管理未能得到良好的照顧，以令產品品質平平，而且很多設備已變陳舊，未能及時更新。

1985年酒莊終於落入了明主 Gardinier 父子手中。Gardinier 是法國的釀酒世家，他們在香檳區擁有著名香檳 Pommery 和 Lanson 的大部分股份。同時又擁有雄厚的財力。Gardinier 是全法國第二大化肥工業公司的擁有人，又在美國佛羅里達州擁有4000公頃的橙園。 Gardinier 父子看中 Phelan Segur 的微型氣候和土壤的優厚潛質，決心令“飛龍再生”，發揮應有本性，釀造出最有物值的 Saint. Estephe 酒。 Gardinier 父子購入酒莊後以其強大的財力作為後盾，全面更新酒莊幾乎所有的設備。並配至目前世界上最先進的釀酒設施。他們還相信造好酒需要每一個環節以植認真嚴謹的態度監控品質。但他們剛買下酒莊時就碰上了一個棘手問題：1985年買下酒莊時，是連同了1984和1985還在橡木桶內的酒一起買下的。後來他們在裝瓶時發現酒質受葡萄種植時一種美國農藥的輕微影響，對人體雖不至有害，而且85年份還獲英國酒評界老大 John Hughson 評為上佳年份酒，但 Gardinier 父子毅然決定全部作廢一瓶不留。後來他們又發現前任莊主已出售的83年份酒也有同一毛病，於事立刻發出通知，收回未賣到消費者手上的全部83年份。以這種態度釀酒，造酒和做生意實為罕見之極，從而你也不難明白後來的 Phelan Segur 為什麼能在短時間重拾光芒，一躍成為了酒評家、酒商和葡萄酒愛好者的新寵。

2003年 Phelan Segur 被評為 247 個波爾多明星酒莊中的最高等級“Crus Bourgeois Exceptionnel”，獲此殊榮的酒莊僅有6個，再次證明了 Phelan Segur 是近年波爾多的超級新星，而在酒友心目中，Phelan Segur 早已達到列級莊的水平。著名酒評家 Robert Parker 給其五星級酒莊的評級，遠超過不少1855年分級下的三、四、五級列級莊的地位。2003年初，歐洲最權威的葡萄酒雜誌 Decanter 評出全世界範圍內最超值的五十大名酒中，飛龍世家榜上有名。飛龍世家的酒性正如她們的主人一樣：大方、開揚、和順、自然、平易近人。她中度酒體，單寧平和，木香豐富而且飽滿，既可年青飲用，又可陳放二十年(好年份可更長)。最重要的是她有超過很多三至五級名莊的品質，但價格卻在很多列級莊以下，物超所值。

酒莊目前的葡萄園面積為70公頃，其中有55%的土地用來栽培 Cabernet Sauvignon ，有43%的土地用來栽培 Merlot ，1% 的土地用來栽培 Petit Verdot ，還有1%的土地用來栽培 Cabernet Franc 。當葡萄達到理想的成熟狀態後，酒莊會通過人工方式進行採摘。採摘後的葡萄經過篩選、破皮後，會通過傳統方式進行發酵。發酵得來的葡萄酒會再在60%新的法國橡木桶中熟成16-18個月，最後在酒莊內裝瓶。年產約25000箱正牌紅酒。它還有一個副牌酒叫 Frank Phelan。在2017年，由Gardinier 三兄弟經營的Phelan Segur 再度易手到比利時航運公司巨頭 Sea-Invest 的老闆 Philippe Van de Vyvere ，當時破了中級莊轉售的紀錄以9千萬歐元成交，而酒莊落著這位身家萬貫的巨頭之手，繼續沿用昔日 Veronique Dausse 為首的釀酒團隊和釀酒顧問Michel Rolland ，Phelan Segur 在將來質量和名氣只會有增無減 !

Created in 1986, Frank Phelan, the second wine of the Chateau, bears the name of the son of Bernard Phelan, founder of the estate. Frank Phelan comes from 15 hectares of old vines and a selection of vines of less than ten years. It respects the classic values of the Chateau by expressing another facet of its terroir.

Frank Phelan associates indulgent fruit, intense and compelling, with an elegant structure of silky tannins. It undergoes 14 months’ ageing. Its roundness and suppleness allow it to be enjoyed from a young age.

La Croix Bonis

Intimately linked to Chateau Phelan Segur, La Croix Bonis comes from selected parcels at the property. Made principally from Merlot, the wines are aged for 12 months. A fine expression of the Saint-Estèphe appellation, La Croix Bonis is a fleshy, supple wine, very fruity with well-integrated tannins. It can be enjoyed after 3 to 8 years.
