佩薩克里奧南（Pessac-Leognan）位於波爾多（Bordeaux）南端、格拉夫（Graves）北部，臨近加隆河（Garonne）左岸，是一個優秀的AOC葡萄酒產區。產區主要為沙質碎石土壤，叢林密佈，松樹林立，擁有8個風景秀麗的村莊。與波爾多其它產區不同，佩薩克-雷奧雖然紅葡萄酒居於主導地位，卻以優質的白葡萄酒和紅葡萄酒聞名遐邇。1855年的波爾多酒莊評級中，此產區的侯伯王（Chateau Haut-Brion）是唯一一家不屬於上梅多克（Haut-Medoc）產區的一級酒莊。

佛澤爾酒莊   (Chateaude Fieuzal) 擁有400年的悠久歷史，經歷了5個不同家族擁有酒莊，1953年被評選為格拉夫列級酒莊   (Crus classes de Grave)。

十九世紀由佛澤爾家族   (Fieuzal) 創建。酒莊建立沒多久後便幾經易主，歷經5個家族的傳承。從最初創建酒莊的佛澤爾（Fieuzal）家族一直到現在掌管酒莊的奎寧（Quinn）家族，每位擁有者都為酒莊的發展做出了貢獻現任莊主為 Brenda  & Lochlann Quinn 由 2011年購入酒莊管理至今。這個格拉夫列級酒莊的葡萄酒同樣以其優良的白葡萄酒和豐滿的紅葡萄酒而聞名。非常重視風土的傳統使得酒莊出產卓越的葡萄酒，同時也保護了自然遺產的特殊多樣性。

2006年，邀請了金鐘酒莊（Chateau Angelus）的莊主兼釀酒師赫伯特·德寶德（Hubert de Bouard）擔任其釀酒顧問。

2007年，經驗豐富的天才釀酒師   Stephen Carrier 原本來自香檳區   (Champagne)，擁有   Reims Unviersity 釀酒學文憑，曾在波爾多   Chateau Pichon-Longueville Baron 和   Chateau Lynch-Bages 酒莊工作 6 年，也曾在Napa Valley 為   LVMH 的   Bernard Arnault 任職。也加入酒莊並負責帶領酒莊的釀酒團隊。在他們的努力下， Chateau de Fieuzal 的葡萄酒品質不斷提升，酒莊聲譽也越來越好。

酒莊佔地 75公頃，位於滿佈碎石的小丘上，土壤層淺，多石有利排水和吸熱，賦予葡萄酒極強的礦物感，平均樹齡三十年，年產紅酒 11萬瓶和白酒 2萬瓶。Chateau de Fieuzal 陳熟於橡木桶 14-18個月，大約 60%採用全新橡木桶，酒莊副牌為   L'Abeille de Fieuzal 。

Deep garnet in color, the 2010 de Fieuzal rocks up with bold, confident Black Forest cake and crème de cassis scents followed by nuances of cigar box, new leather and Chinese five spice plus a waft of potpourri. Full-bodied, rich, spicy and decadently fruited, it has a chewy texture and lively freshness lifting the spicy finish.

This is very extracted with chewy tannins and lots of new wood butthere's ripe fruit underneath and a pretty finish. Give it three or four years to soften. Fieuzal continues to improve. Best after 2016.

🏅Wine Spectator 92 pts

A sleek, ripe, driven wine, with raspberry, blackcurrant and past is-soaked plum notes at the core, lined with well-embedded toast, ganache and tobacco hints. The finely beaded acidity stitches this up nicely on the lengthy finish. Best from 2015 through 2030.

🏅Vinous 91 pts

Good deep ruby-red. Dark berries and spicy, cedary oak dominate the nose. Supple and broad but a bit less creamy in the early going than is normal for this wine. Sexy, soil-driven flavors of plum, tobacco, cigar box and spices show good energy. Firm tannins clamp down on the finish without introducing any dryness. A rather classically styled Fieuzal with good mid-term aging potential.
